Unlock the Power
of Emotional Intelligence

Key skills that promote a resilient, compassionate, and trauma-responsive workplace culture

Trauma-Responsive Emotional Intelligence Training

Consistent exposure to emotional stress and secondary trauma is an unavoidable part of working in high-stress environments. While mindfulness and other coping strategies can be beneficial, they often lack the essential tools, resources, and, most crucially, trauma-responsive language needed to effectively and thoroughly process these stressors.

Our emotional intelligence training provides trauma-responsive tools, resources, and language that enable you to transform challenges into opportunities for personal and collective growth.

Emotional Intelligence Training for Managers

One of the key reasons managers struggle to lead effectively amid continuous pressure is their difficulty in managing their own emotions. These challenges can result in defensiveness and behaviours that are often perceived as toxic.

Providing leaders with tools and resources to help them understand and manage their emotional well-being is a worthwhile investment in their personal and professional development across several important areas:

  • Confidence
  • Boundaries
  • Communication
  • Relationship building
  • Conflict resolution
  • Self-awareness

Our Emotional Intelligence training also fosters relationships among participating leaders, aiming to create a support network and reduce the common emotional isolation that managers often feel.

Emotional Intelligence Coaching Skills

Many leaders lack the necessary skills and tools to support team members who are struggling. We can equip your managers with coaching skills that foster a psychologically safe environment, enabling them to assist their team members in overcoming challenges and achieving personal growth.

By developing these skills, the relationships between employees and their managers can significantly improve, leading to enhancements in:

  • Staff retention
  • Employee appreciation
  • Reduction in mental health-related absences
  • Workplace culture
  • Overall productivity

This training can also be adapted for your wellbeing champions, mental health first aiders, and TRiM teams.

Emotional Intelligence Training for Teams

Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in how teams function. When team members work on developing their emotional intelligence, they get better at understanding each other, resolving conflicts, and navigating the relentless stress and change.

Our training boosts collaboration, empathy and compassion. It creates an atmosphere where everyone feels appreciated and supported.

On an individual level, people benefit from:

  • Better self-awareness
  • Authentic empathy
  • Improve decision-making abilities

On a team level, this leads to:

  • Increased productivity
  • Better communication
  • Enhanced overall performance

Ultimately, investing in emotional intelligence training not only empowers individuals but also strengthens the collective resilience and effectiveness of the entire team.

Training Content

At the core of our emotional intelligence training is the evidence-based approach known as Emotional Logic, developed by Dr. Trevor Griffiths. Emotional Logic provides a framework for individuals to understand and manage their emotions by identifying the underlying reasons for them. This method enhances emotional intelligence by enabling people to respond more effectively to their emotional experiences, which in turn fosters greater self-awareness and improved interpersonal skills.

What sets Emotional Logic apart from other emotional intelligence training methods is its emphasis on the personal values, needs and desires that underpin our emotions, rather than focusing solely on the emotions and thought processes. This deeper insight into personal values allows for more sustainable emotional growth and resilience, empowering individuals to navigate complex emotional situations with increased clarity and confidence.

To give your decision-makers a firsthand understanding of our approach, we are excited to offer a complimentary 30-minute mini-session. This opportunity will showcase the effectiveness of Emotional Logic, allowing participants to experience its transformative potential in enhancing emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

I found the whole Emotional Logic experience highly enlightening and certainly came away with a far greater understanding of emotions, not only my own but of those around me as well.

Emotional Logic isn’t about reliving the past, and it isn’t about using mantras to paper over the cracks in your psyche, it’s about finding out what’s most ‘you’ – and why that’s a good thing.
